Of the many inventions the world has witnessed, the invention of cars is one of the best and one of the most useful inventions. Cars have served as the world’s transportation agent for many years now; people use it everyday, especially nowadays. In the continuous use of cars, the accumulation of dirt on its body and on its tires is inevitable. Accumulated dirt can shorten any car’s life; that is why, one should wash his car regularly.
In washing a car, one should first see to it that it windows are tightly rolled up and its doors are tightly shut. It is also advisable to conduct the cleaning in a cool and shady spot so that the water will not evaporate too rapidly.
After checking the windows and the doors, and securing a cool spot, one may begin the washing by rinsing the car from the roof down to the tires. After rinsing, prepare the car detergent that will be used; remember to follow the instructions for the dilution ration, because the ratio varies with the concentration of the product. When applying the detergent, it is advisable to use a sponge, sheepskin mitt, or cotton chenille pad. With the sponge, begin washing with the soapy water from the roof down to the tires. Most of the time, the tires of the car is the dirtiest part, that is why, when the sponge does not seem to work there, one may use a brush in cleaning it. One may now rinse the soap off the car using free-flowing water. If one is using a hose, the nozzle may be taken off. After all of these, use a dry towel or a chamois cloth to dry the whole car. One should be very specific in drying corners and crevices. After cleaning the tires and the body of the car, one may polish the windows of the car by rubbing a crumpled newspaper.
Every car owner in the whole world benefits much from their cars; therefore, one should never hesitate to allocate much time and effort in keeping ones car sparkling.
